13-15 February 2014 - International Conference 'Going Beyond the Laboratory – Ethical and Societal Challenges for Robotics'

The International Conference "Going Beyond the Laboratory – Ethical and Societal Challenges for Robotics", sponsored by DFG - German Research Foundation, will be held in Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (Delmenhorst), Germany, and Oldenburg, Germany from 13 to 15 February 2014.

The conference deals with ethical, legal, and other societal issues which will emerge from practical use of robots in everyday life situations.
Leading experts of the fields of Robotics, Social Sciences, Legal Studies, Ethics, and Philosophy, as well as representatives from the areas of robot policy and robot industry are invited to partecipate.

Due to the number of requests (up to 24 posters) a poster session will be held during the conference. The call for posters is downloadable form the official website and the submission deadline is on 15 November 2013.
